This is an example of an article that would be about a level 8 (Pretty good understanding and presentation of the subject, but not quite ready for national publication). I have chosen make a separate wiki page for each section with a table of contents, but it could also be done as a single page.
Bacon's Rebellion - 1676
In 1676, in the Virginia Colony, Nathaniel Bacon led a group of settlers in a revolt against the governor of the colony, Sir William Berkeley. Bacon was unhappy with Berkeley's approach to the settlers' complaints about Indian attacks and may have been trying to overthrow the governor and improve his own political standing. The rebellion ended fairly abruptly when Bacon died of disease, but the governor lost his position as well. The situation was obviously a bit more complex than that, and gets interesting when you get into different perspectives in a variety of primary and secondary sources.
